Recruiting for 2009 Summer Programs will begin September 2008. Please stay tuned formore information.

Welcome to the Denver Chapter of Amigos de las Américas (AMIGOS).  The Denver Chapter is in its 39th year of youth empowerment!

Each year, our exciting and challenging program provides unique experiences to student volunteers from the Denver area.  Beginning each October, we select and train a number of high school and college students to travel to Latin America during the following summer.

This program creates opportunities for these young people to excel in leadership roles promoting public health, education, and community development.  These dynamic volunteers reach across cultural barriers, advance various programs, and foster multi-cultural understanding throughout the Americas.

If you are a qualified teenager who might be interested in being considered for the 2008 program, we invite both you and your parents to look at this and the AMIGOS International Office's web site for more information.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
