Denver Area Recruiting has Begun for Summer of 2010

The Denver Area Chapter is currently accepting volunteers for the summer 2010 program.

Amigos is an international, not for profit organization that provides community service opportunities in Latin America.

Amigos sends 600 high school students from all over the US to Latin America every summer to live with a host family for 5-8 weeks and volunteer in a rural community.  Training is provided.  You must be 16 by September 1, 2010 and have 2 years of high school Spanish or equivalent.  Interviews will be October 3^rd and 4^th. 

On the 3^rd of October they will be at:

Boulder Head Start, 3650 Martin Drive Boulder, CO  80305 at 9:30, 11:00 and, 1:30.

On the 4^th of October they will be at:

Montview Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street, Denver, CO 80220 at 1:00 and 2:30.

A $40 non-refundable application fee (checks made out to Amigos), One or preferably both parents, complete pre-application and if possible a letter of recommendation is needed at the time of interview.
