Are you Ready to Change Your World?

“Building partnerships to empower young leaders, advance community development, and strengthen multi-cultural understanding in the Americas.”

Amigos is an international, not for profit organization that provides community service opportunities in Latin America.

The Denver Chapter of Amigos de las Americas is hosting two Parent Information sessions for families interested in the 2011 summer programs. Amigos sends 600 high school students from all over the US to Latin America every summer to live with a host family for 5-8 weeks and volunteer in a rural community.  Training is provided and scholarships are available.  You must be 16 by September 1, 2011 and have 2 years of high school Spanish or equivalent.  Interviews will be in early October.
